By the Book
During this workshop we’ll ditch our canvases in favor of old books. We will use both acrylic and watercolors to begin creating art journals. This activity is sure to spark creativity both during our time together and then on your own at home.
Creating art can be a wonderful tool for expressing emotions that feel bigger than words. It can be useful in identifying and exploring issues related to illness and treatment. Through art workshops, patients and caregivers can develop tools to increase self-awareness and cope better with symptoms. The emphasis is on the process of making art and not the end product.
