DESCRIPTION:By the Book\n\nDuring this workshop we’ll ditch our canvases 
 in favor of old books. We will use both acrylic and watercolors to begin c
 reating art journals. This activity is sure to spark creativity both durin
 g our time together and then on your own at home.\n\nCreating art can be a
  wonderful tool for expressing emotions that feel bigger than words.  It 
 can be useful in identifying and exploring issues related to illness and t
 reatment. Through art workshops\, patients and caregivers can develop tool
 s to increase self-awareness and cope better with symptoms. The emphasis i
