Creating art can be a wonderful tool for expressing emotions that feel bigger than words.  It can be useful in identifying and exploring issues related to illness and treatment. Through art workshops, patients and caregivers can develop tools to increase self-awareness and cope better with symptoms. The emphasis is on the process of making art and not the end product.

During this workshop, we will explore basic color theory. We’ll use the color wheel to help us understand and use concepts of color harmony to create our own acrylic paintings. Join us as we come together to learn, create and have fun.
