Creating art can be a wonderful tool for expressing emotions that feel bigger than words. It can be useful in identifying and exploring issues related to illness and treatment. Through art workshops, patients and caregivers can develop tools to increase self-awareness and cope better with symptoms. The emphasis is on the process of making art and not the end product.
This month we will delve into the art of post impressionist, Henri Rousseau. We’ll look at what made his style unique, and create our own paintings inspired by his work.
