This general support group is available to anyone affected by cancer, but will have a focus on young adults affected by cancer. Led by a social worker, support groups allow individuals to meet others experiencing similar things and give people the chance to:
- Share questions, concerns and feelings
- Connect with others who understand
- Reduce levels of stress and anxiety
- Increase coping skills
- Develop a sense of well-being
