(Baton Rouge, La.) – On March 16, Cancer Services announces the 2017 Board of Directors. Four new board members joined the board as David Perry, vice president at Arthur J. Gallagher Insurance, assumed the role as board president.

“2017 is a critical year for Cancer Services and the Greater Baton Rouge area,” said Perry. We are working incredibly hard after a trying 2016 and now, more than ever, there is a need for the vital services that we provide. Fundraising and donor cultivation is key as we continue to grow and work to continually serve the emotional, financial and physical needs of those affected by cancer in our community.”

Perry replaces Thomas R. Temple, Jr., partner, Breazeale, Sachse & Wilson, as board president.

Roshto has been at Cancer Services since Feb. 2015 and under her leadership, and with the help of the board, she has been instrumental in helping the organization streamline processes and increase community awareness while focusing on future growth.
