Zach Morgan along with a group of friends delivered Christmas gifts to Cancer Services of Greater Baton Rouge for their Annual Toy Drive for children in their Bella Bowman Childrens Program. Children affected by cancer will take part in a Christmas party on Sunday, Dec. 8 in which Cancer Services will be handing out toys to over 200 children.

Resident of Watson, LA and 3rd grader, Zach Morgan was chosen by Hasbro as a Joy Maker in thier national campaign led by GenerationOn, a global youth service organization that inspires kids to make their mark on the world. Zach’s postive actions in his initiative to collect brand new baseball caps and hats to donate to children who are battling a childhood illness has made Zach a local celebrity. He has partnered with Cancer Services of Greater Baton Rouge Children’s Programs and Our Lady of the Lake Children’s hospital as well as other children’s cancer programs throughout the United States that he has shipped hats to. In May of this past year he was chosen as a Hasbro Community Action Hero and traveled to New York City to receive his award.
