SUMMARY:Virtual Healing Arts Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Creating art can be a wonderful tool for expressing emotions th
 at feel bigger than words.  It can be useful in identifying and exploring
  issues related to illness and treatment. Through art workshops\, patients
  and caregivers can develop tools to increase self-awareness and cope bett
 er with symptoms. The emphasis is on the process of making art and not the
  end product.\n\nMonday\, November 9th at 10:00am\, Laura Gaddy will host 
 our first Virtual Healing Arts Workshop via Zoom. In addition to the tradi
 tional healing arts\, there are many other forms of expression\, connecti
 on and self-development that can play a key role in health. During this he
 aling arts with Laura Gaddy\, we will be using acrylic paint on a 5x7 whi
 te canvas. All supplies needed for this event will be offered in an art ki
 t. This kit will be available for pick up ONLY ON FRIDAY\, 11/6/2020 at C
 ancer Services. There are limited kits so please RSVP by Thursday 11/5/202
 0 by 3:00pm to reserve your kit. If you are unable to receive a kit\, you
