DESCRIPTION:2nd THURSDAY OF EACH MONTH | 10-11 A.M.\n\nMany individuals who
  receive a cancer diagnosis have a strong network of family and friends ea
 ger to provide support\, but they may not fully understand what it is like
  to cope with a cancer diagnosis. To help\, Cancer Services offers monthly
  support groups for cancer patients and survivors in Baton Rouge and the s
 urrounding parishes to support one another and share their experiences.\n\
 nSupport Groups and other services at Cancer Services are always free of c
 harge. Your support enables us to serve the emotional\, financial and phys
 ical needs of those affected by this life-changing disease.
