Cancer Services of Greater Baton Rouge offers financial assistance to eligible clients. We are able to provide financial assistance for the following:
Mileage Reimbursement
Financial assistance for transportation is provided to eligible clients in the form of mileage reimbursement. This assistance is provided to clients who have to travel long distances in order to receive medical care and treatment related to their cancer.
Prescription Assistance
Because Cancer Services understands that the costs of prescription medications can cause a significant financial strain on our clients, we provide assistance to help our clients pay for their cancer related medications. This includes treatment medications, anti-nausea medications, pain medications and medications prescribed for depression, anxiety and insomnia.
There is also a free discount card available through United Networks of America that may help with the cost of certain medications.

Ostomy Supplies
Cancer Services offers financial assistance towards the purchase of ostomy supplies. This includes colostomy bags, urostomy bags, ileostomy bags and related items.
Medical Equipment
Cancer Services assists with the payment towards the monthly rental of medical equipment for eligible clients.
Lymphedema Sleeves
Cancer Services assists with the payment towards the purchase of lymphedema sleeves for eligible clients.
Artificial Larynx Devices
Cancer Services assists with the payment towards the purchase of artificial larynx devices for eligible clients.
