On September 4, 2014, Cancer Services hosted the 32nd Annual Capital Chefs' Showcase at the Baton Rouge River Center. The event featured Paul Mainieri, LSU Head Baseball Coach and Mayor-President Melvin “Kip” Holden as honorary chairmen. Additionally, over a thousand attendees enjoyed an incredible evening that included delectable cuisine from the community’s finest restaurants and caterers a Shimmering Shopping Spree raffle donated by Lee Michaels Fine Jewelry, silent and live auctions, open bars and live music.
